Awww, isn't he cute? Gotta love my man for being my first patient and spending 6 hours in the chair! He earned big brownie points, for sure! To be honest, all of us have been terrified to see patients. I think I speak for the whole class when I say that we don't feel anywhere near ready. Still, ready or not, March 15th arrived. Most of us had family in the chair, which turned out to be good AND bad. ;) While it was comforting to know that someone that loved us was there for support, they also didn't hold back on letting us know how they felt! My man was jumping out of the chair the whole time I was probing, and I thought he was being a baby. When Mrs. Langdon came to check my work, he told her, "Oh, THAT's what it's supposed to feel like!" Grrrr. Anyhow, it went pretty well and we felt pretty good about ourselves. Now, SPRING BREAK!

Homecoming
SFCC is a little bitty community college. I say that to explain why Homecoming happens in March. We have no football team. We have a basketball team. So Homecoming is in March. Don't ask questions. Anyhow, each organization makes a banner to decorate the commons for Homecoming, and four of our lovely Dental Hygiene students were volunteered (under threat of death) to make our banner. They did an awesome job! We were so proud. And the icing on the cake is that our banner won the contest!
